Pintig ng Iyong Puso acoustic cover with Lyrics
My soul continues to have the longing for God as I express it through songs. It has been a disturbing sense of humility and unworthiness that I have inside me every time I think of my Savior Jesus Christ. Though I always desire to draw near to Him, there's an automatic overflowing awe of Him that I want to sing.
Pintig ng Iyong Puso is one of my favorites in getting near to God through worship. It elevates the degree of my seeking after Him as the lyrics tells the heart to be in His Presence to hear His voice. Listening and feeling the heartbeat of our Lord provides me the joy and happiness in life that the world cannot even level.
As a youth, this song opens the heart to see God as person who remains to be available in the world of intimacy for those who are willing. It is the spiritual awareness of the seeker like me to spend time with Him until reaching into a place called "holy place" that I can hear His still voice.
Here's my Pintig ng Iyong Puso acoustic cover. Pastor Joey Crisostomo of JIL Greenhills composed the song.
PINTIG NG IYONG PUSO Lyrics
Pastor Joey Crisostomo
Parang alon sa dagat
Ika’y dumating
Parang alon sa dagat
Kami’y Iyong dalhin
Magpapatianod kami ay ihatid
Ikaw lang ang may alam nitong landasin
Kami’y akayin at Iyong dalhin
Hanggang marating na ang lalim
Ng pintig ng IYong puso
Na nagsasabing
“Ika’y manatili sa’king piling…
At iyong dinggin,
Ako’y mahalin
at laging sundin
At sasambahin.”
Parang alon sa dagat
Ika’y dumating
Parang alon sa dagat
Kami’y Iyong dalhin
Magpapatianod kami ay ihatid
Ikaw lang ang may alam nitong landasin
Kami’y akayin at Iyong dalhin
Hanggang marating na ang lalim
Ng pintig ng Yong puso
Na nagsasabing
“Ika’y manatili sa’king piling…
At iyong dinggin,
Ako’y mahalin
at laging sundin
At sasambahin.”
[Bridge]
Hindi mapapagod ang pusong ito na awitan Ka at mahalin
Hindi magsasawang Ika'y sambahin
bawat sandali papuri ko'y hihimigin
Kami’y akayin at Iyong dalhin
Hanggang marating na ang lalim
Ng pintig ng Yong puso
Na nagsasabing
“Ika’y manatili sa’king piling…
At iyong dinggin,
Ako’y mahalin
at laging sundin
At sasambahin.”
